Temp 78, Tornado sighted
Predicted bad
weather or the remote location kept the numbers down tonight with only 3 riders
and 1 single speed timer.
A reported
tornado outside of Watertown turned out to be the Delano Duo (Ed and John)
stuck in the round-a-bout. Luckily us folks from Watertown are used
to extracting people from Delano and they were sent on their way back to the
finish before they turned into butter.
The single
speed hex worked with Ed flatting before the race and breaking a chain during
the race. Despite all the troubles, Ed was still able to pull off a
heroic podium finish and garner a nifty 8 points.
Finish:
10 points -
Schoo - 31:16
9 points -
Barton - 32:32
8 points -
Matthiesen - 34:30
1 point - Smith
(for timing and stopping the tornadic activity)

like to be a contributor to the blog let me know and I'll set it up.
Next week is
the Multi Surface ride "Hell of Greenfield Deuce". If you
haven't done one of these you should try to make it. As Steve
Schoo is fond of saying about events like this "It's a different
kind of fun…."
